Hello and welcome! I'm Nadejda Vames.
Design is my native language—spoken through materials, forms, and intention. It's how I think, feel, and connect with the world.
My journey began in the Republic of Moldova, where I studied Engineering and Architectural Design at the Technical University of Moldova. During my final year, I ventured into freelance design, driven by a deep curiosity about how spaces, objects, and systems affect our emotions and experiences.
In 2010, I founded Nadejda Vames Interiors SRL, leading a studio that reimagined homes, public spaces, and commercial environments. Over time, my creative practice expanded into product design, packaging, exhibition stands, and concept creation—each project an exploration of function and beauty.
Since 2017, I've been based in the United States, collaborating with clients worldwide—both online and in person—especially in New York and New Jersey. My work encompasses residential and commercial interiors, creative strategy for nonprofits, product and collection design with manufacturers, and emotional storytelling through mood boards and spatial narratives.
In 2018, I began a long-term collaboration with BOON Glass, designing custom architectural glass and mirrors. This experience deepened my appreciation for the purity, complexity, and poetic potential of glass. You can explore our glass creations at www.boonglass.com.

In 2025, I advanced my path by creating BOON MIRROR—a design studio reinventing mirrors and the concept of mirroring. This venture encapsulates all my design expertise and experience, experiments, and project lessons, presenting mirrors as sculptural, interactive, multi-sensory designs and as emotional architecture. MY PHILOSOPHY
Design is not something I do. It’s how I move through the world—with awareness, care, and curiosity.
My process is rooted in timeless aesthetics, durable craftsmanship, and sustainable thinking. I create across disciplines: interiors, products, systems, mirrors, and experiences. Every piece is a response—a translation of human needs into clarity and form.
I believe design should do more than look good. It should feel right. It should last. It should speak.
My creations are made to inspire, serve, and evolve with the people who live with them. They are the outcome of intentional collaboration, each idea shaped by the people, stories, and purpose behind it.
Design, for me, is both present and future. Both function and emotion. Both vision and reality.
